New guitar: Chapman ML-2

...Just to chip in on this thread. I purchased an ML-2 last year as I'm a long time Les Paul user and was interested in how this would compare. I have to say for the cost its very good. The upper access is better as you would expect. There is sooo much room up the top. Took a bit of getting used to. Its also noticeably heavier than my LP (2005 unchambered standard) but is definitely more resonant. If you play a mixture of stuff, the ML-2 can sound better as it really rings out while playing clean. I still prefer the Les Paul as an all out rock guitar but the Chapman guitar is no slouch. Its also considerably cheaper of course!
