You first, we already cleared a nice little path in Libya. Then Cameron and Hague tried to side with ISIS in getting rid Bashar al-assad, I would rather put my faith, in a kid playing total war or something.

Indeed the idea of painting a clearer target over the UK does not appeal to me..   Cannot see the point in starting yet another war that we have no clear principled conviction to see through, anyway we are skint and for once, thankfully.

There is a US-led coalition involved. I can't see our commitment getting any bigger or anyone elses.

Defeating ISIS in say Syria would not defeat extremism and terrorism in our own country and around the world. That seed has already been planted.

Which is why I said fighting the ideology is a different battle altogether. Osama Bin Laden is dead, but the ideology he helped to create and promote is very much alive and kicking. ISIS is merely attempting to make Osama Bin Laden's dreams of an Islamic Caliphate become a reality.

What we have at the moment is the US providing air support (reconnaissance and air raids) , equipment and training, alongside special forces operations. The Kurds have shown that ISIS when cornered tend to crumble and melt away to fight another day. The only way I could see the US directly intervening against ISIS with it's full military might is if ISIS use WMD's of some kind.

What about the 25 dead in Kuwait or are those people not important enough for you and do not feed into your agenda.

Western Media and Sunnis aren't in the least bothered about the sh*te's being killed in a daily basis. Very rarely do Sunnis even condemned these attacks but go silent. If Muslim want unity then they have to speak up!

Shame we didn't side with Putin and Assad to wipe out those cowards but rather fund so called "Rebels' and now we've got Isis stronger than ever and able to communicate globally.

Agreed.  Sadly.

Just have to live with it.  Nothing can be done to stop it without massive worldwide cooperation.

More chance of an asteroid wiping out half the planet and uniting the other half though.  Imo.

Putin, only person who stopped another mass invasion. Syria would have been another Libya with no intention of helping the Nation.

You're right. Putin is a nasty piece of work along with the evil dictators he's supported - Assad, Hussein, Ghaddafi etc but, bad as they were, they at least kept the even nastier ISIS in check - they're just beyond the pale and can never be reasoned with.

Regardless of all that, my big question in all of this (and it just goes on and on) is when are the so-called "moderate Muslims" going to sort out the extremists - or are all Muslims and Islam basically all the same and part of the problem? (not meant to be inflammatory or blindly tarring all Muslims with the same brush but it just seems to be an ongoing issue with that "religion" - and keeps getting worse and worse...)
