Ah ok. Is there any similar types of games? I'm not really into Sim Racing unfortunately but I'd love to have a racing game on my PC.

I know there is obviously Dirt and Most Wanted/all of those but that really isn't the exact game I'm looking for. Basically is there anything similar to GT or Forza?

GRID 2 does look good.

There is no currently available PC-exclusive racing game that is directly comparable to the experience offered by Forza or Gran Turismo.

The console ports are the best bet for the that. Anything by Codemasters like GRID, DIRT or F1. I have F1 2012 on the PC and it's a good game. The handling model is a bit basic and very forgiving but the game looks really good and has all the authenticity of the real championship.

You could always check out RaceRoom Racing Experience by Simbin and Auto Club Revolution, both are free to play online racers.

rFactor is at the opposite end of the scale to Forza. There is no career mode, no credits to earn. The user interface is very basic. It's all about realistic racing either offline (single race or championships) or online. The game relies heavily on community created mod content which means there are hundreds of tracks and cars to download (of varying quality) but it also means the game has an enthusiasts element which requires a lot of tinkering. rFactor isn't pick-up-and-play. Having said that, it does offer all the driving assists you need so the driving difficulty can be scaled to any ability level.

I play rFactor 2 which is still in beta but should go 'gold' sometime this year. Worth checking out if you want to see how good driving physics can be.

To start with I would recommend Race Injection by Simbin:
Race Injection (PC DVD): Amazon.co.uk: PC & Video Games

Also look for GTR Evolution (both are on Steam). These will give you a shed load of content and tracks, and a sim that's very immersive but not too hardcore. It's an older game so will run well on any modern PC, but it's still widely played today.

Project Cars and Assetto Corsa are also out later this year touch wood. No career mode like Forza but are looking great nevertheless. Assetto Corsa should be releasing a demo soon as the game had/has a Spring 2013 release date.

I'll try a few demos, I just like the way in Forza you race with a low-quality care and build up.

GRID 2 looks arcadey, but I always thought it was meant to be closer to a Sim?

Certainly isn't.

Doesn't mean it's a bad game, just not for me.

The second video looks very much like St. Petersburg from PGR4!

Wouldn't be a bad thing if it plays like it too, had many happy hours playing PGR4.

Does look mighty fine, just worried about the price tag.

Clubsport Shifter looks awesome...and the blurred out bits look like a new CSW rim (concensus seems to be a Porsche wheel)  and fixed paddles for the base on the way

Pricing will be announced next week according to the Fanatec blog:

Can see this being around the €200 mark. Interesting that they say there'll be two versions. Wonder what differentiates the two?
