To save money on multiple dimmers, I’m going to wire in an in-line into a 3 pin plug then wire two lamps off the inline  or connect a double socket onto the inline dimmer so I can run both bed side lamps off one in line dimmer . Will also do this with the lamps in the front room.

James

I contacted Lutron about your scenario. I was wrong. You can wire two hubs but the app will recognise them as two hubs so you would have one set up as the house and the other as the garden building.

However the repeaters do work really well. I have one hub and 3 floor in my house, with extensions and loads of RSJs which used to act as faraday cage so I had to buy the wifi repeaters to get interent and one Lutron Hub communicates everywhere with no issues.  I thought I may have needed two.

Added a PIR sensor to first floor floor landing and will add another one to the second floor too. Means I can get rid of the night lights I had for the kids.  If anyone comes into the landings the spot lights come on very dimmed.

Fantastic Shahedz, what does the programming in the app look like for this? I assume you can set this to trigger only during darkness (sunrise/sunset functionality?)

The PIR actually is programmed from the back of the unit. It has 3 buttons .Mine is set to only work during darkness and for one minute.

Awesome, and is “during darkness” an option or have you set specific times?

"during darkness" That's an option, I haven't found a way to do it between specific times.
