"Little glass pub" was The Conservatory - many a night of misspent youth in there when I used to work almost directly opposite Forbidden Planet. I actually had my 21st in their function room upstairs free of charge, as the company I was working for held most of it's "meetings" in there, and most nights after work were spent in there.It changed owners and went downhill, which was a shame. I think it's called "The Intrepid Fox" now...

Yep, we are hardcore Fantasy/Sci-Fi geeks - you just watch us roll up the sleeves of our white shirts with the pockets full of pens when those non fiction lads start posting their efforts!
