Jack Reach = crack cocaine of the crime world

Just started reading the first novel , my god these are certainly addicted . Last set of novels I got this in to was the Rebus series , and they where grew , but Reacher is so well written.
Has anyone else got in to these ? Does the series of books stay this good ?

Read them all and whilst a little formulaic they are very enjoyable reads.
(Just don't watch the trailer to the film that's due out soon. They couldn't have got it more wrong//static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/facepalm.gif data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

cheers guys.

I've watched the trailer. and although i don't mind Cruise he isn't Reacher . and the film would be a 18 because Reacher wouldnt be having a fist fight ( like at the end of the trailer ) he would have poked someones eyes out and headbutted them. brutal

Sent a sample of the first book to my Kindle - reviews look good data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Don't know if they are in a similar vein but the Ben Hope books by Scott Mariani are a good, easy crime thriller read

I've listened to all of them on audiobook up to the latest (A Wanted man), which I have on eBook, and will read on holiday next week.
I'm completely hooked. Yes, they're formulaic, but they're an easy read - no doubt about that! data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I've read all the Reacher books and was lucky enough to read the first one when it first came out so have been reading them ever since.

I will not watch any part of the upcoming film because it will ruin the books forever for me. How the hell could they cast a poncey looking dwarf as Reacher data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Just to add a little more to my rant! I remember a couple of years ago Lee Child being interviewed and when he was asked what Reacher looked like he said that he always pictures him looking like Lawrence Dallaglio.

That to me says that he sold out for the film.

I've just looked him up. i could see that . certainly better then cruise !!
I've just finished the first book and i imaged him as a Brock lesner type.
