thanks mate. Where do you usually get your comics and graphic novels from. I had a look in waterstones but a lot were overpriced and not in very good condition. I was looking at Amazon, i assume that the condition will be excellent from them jsut hope the packing is good.

For comics, Forbidden Planet, if you have one near you. If ordering online, I used to order from Midtown Comics - they're based in the US, but are pretty good.
Graphic Novels, again Forbidden Planet if you need it right away, but Amazon are fine - not had any problems with any books I've ordered from them.

As NewMan says, Forbidden Planet seem to have a few branches around. In Central London, also check Gosh!, or in North London, Mega City Comics or in Brighton you have Dave's Comics.

I have been buying all of my graphic novels recently from Amazon as you normally get 30%off rrp. However, FP in London have had a not quite a sale but the GNs have had £3 off etc stickers put on them, meaning I have had some Y The Last Man and Walking Dead from them instead (always support your local comic shop if you can data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

Thanks for the info guys.

I forgot that there is a local comic shop near me (chatham high street in Kent). Used to go there about 15 years ago with a mate that collected comics (mostly spawn). Think i will pop down this weekend to see if its still there.

Where abouts Steve ? Had no idea there was a store in Chatham. Its only a 15min drive from ours so I'd be interested to check it out one saturday. Actually going in shops and browsing is still a novely I enjoy every now and then data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Never knew you were that close. If you know Chatham highstreet its right down the end near the bingo hall and when you get to the end of the high street is on a road on the right. i have no idea if its still there though, if i go down soon i will let you know.

Cheers. Yeah the missus was raised in Higham just outside Gravesend and we now live in Meopham. I grew up in south London and Croydon so its a very different way of life to what I'm used to. Total strangers say good morning to me data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
