What is unfortunate in all of this is that the focus is on Trump, not the potential for terrorism that the UK government and opposition refuse to take seriously.

I would say more, but this article says it all for me...

In the Trump Thread? Shouldn't it be more about Clinton?

Why think for yourself and draw your own conclusions when you can let an Alt-Righter do it for you? You're going to fit in well here - I hope you've got some pom-poms.

Not sure why you are immediately so rude, but if you honestly think Brendan O'Neill is alt-right, your political spectrum is pretty warped. He's a leftie that can see how bonkers most others on the left have become.
The obvious point is that the left shouts down even the most moderate of voices who raise concerns, which in turn leads to the growth of fringe and extreme movements. It's what led to Trump winning in the first place. I maintain that our politicians do not take the terrorist threat seriously enough and effectively shrug their shoulders, when they should be more proactive.

Not sure why you are being so disingenuous, when my point was clearly regarding the discussion of Trump in parliament today.

I'll be honest, I didn't read your link. Someone dumping a link and running is usually a solid indication that that whatever's being linked to is a nonsense.
I've just given it a quick skim....Looks like I was correct.
