We all make incorrect predictions at times Sonic. Some of us even admit it and are the greater man for it data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 For example I can think of posters here who said Corbyn would be the end of the Labour Party...

But, you know, nobody is perfect! And although your timing is a bit off, maybe you are right on this one:

Hell, yeah Sonic! Give us an Exit to Brexit! data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Seriously though with regards exiting the EU - which is now "past that point" and "no going back" according to some - I am not sure whether people are trying to convince themselves or me.

I wasn't particularly trying to convince anyone, just mentioning what I'd read.

He is though isn't he? How many time do we keep hearing that Jeremy's labour isn't labour data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Jeremy's Labour is really called Momentum.......

What was it someone said of the Liberal Party?

I utterly detest the Liberal Democrats - I think they are insidious opportunists. I believe their stance on nuclear power could lead to energy poverty in the years ahead and their position on Trident threatens to castrate this country's international influence. Anything that gives them even slightly more power or representation is an outrageous and unacceptable move IMHO.

Regarding Corbyn I still see him as a loser. All he did was avoid disaster.

Rasczak Publish time 26-11-2019 00:17:42

Yeap, absolutely Sonic - I hated the Lib Dems. I saw them as pointless opportunists. I was devastated when the coalition started. But, you know, they matured a lot in Government - and look at the mess the Tories made without them! What I said there - about Trident and energy poverty - remains extant but unfortunately Brexit dwarfs those issues and, if that is price we must pay to give Brexit an Exit, then so be it!

Is there anything you ever have been right about, or not changed your mind on?

IronGiant Publish time 26-11-2019 00:17:44

We sure do, I admit, I held you up as a shining example of how not to be a remoaner.I certainly got that wrong...data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I seem to remember telling you very clearly a day or so after the vote that I doubted that the result would translate into an actual exit. That has never changed.

Bl4ckGryph0n Publish time 26-11-2019 00:17:46

He didn't really avoid that at all, and that was despite promising unicorns and pots of gold and heads on sticks of rich people. And you are right, he did not win. He is a loser...
