Charging into someone else's function to try to disrupt it? What would be your reaction?

Young person, what are you taking tonight? She's 38.You really have your head in the sand.

Its a little OT but surely if someone has transitioned from man to woman then they are classed as female?

He is desparate? He may have put me on ignore, because he's completely ignoring the fact she is 38 and clearly knew exactly what she was doing as a GreenPeace protester, including wanting to be carried out by security guards.Mark Field took up the bait, and should probably be admonished slightly.

I said it could have been a man wearing women's clothes. That could simply mean it's something they do on a Thursday night to feel empowered.

Bystander effect - Wikipedia

The more people present, the less likely they will do something.

I'm surprised anyone did do anything as most would have been staring and waiting for someone else to do something.

Just because some don't do something doesn't mean letting people who have got past security should be allowed to carry on.

That said, other footage shows some did get involved, just not with her.

Look out for the next IS terrorist attack. They will be shouting "Greenpeace" or "climate change" instead of "Allah Akbar" and no one will be do anything.

I’d say to them that they got what they deserved. Nobody got hurt, they were ushered out in a controlled manner.

Or have the guts, also looks like his apology being held against him just as if he not apologize.
He may have overreacted but it wasn't premeditated it was a spur of the moment reaction to what could have been a very dangerous situation he did not know what her intentions were especially in the current climate.

leamspaceman Publish time 26-11-2019 01:02:56

No, not at all.His apology is an important part of the healing process and I would hope it was a deciding factor in why Barker is not pressing charges. But I think serious consideration is now required as to whether he can remain a Minister. But in reality the Tories have such a limited majority he is unlikely to get the sack.

Fair enough.

As you say Sonic, the rest of the protestors were escorted out cordially by other people present.Nobody else felt the need to grab any of the other protestors by the neck.
