A deterrent is putting people in prison who incite terrorism, they won't do it and it will have a knock down effect hopefully prevented this being spread.

What point are you making about 'bombing civilians 2000 miles away'. Please develop this.

Either he's dead or he's in prison. Either works for me.

The policies of our democratically elected government don't make it acceptable for people to kill own citizens just because they are angry, if radicalised or are stupid. Your argument is a very dangerous one indeed and reading between the lines I think people can see what you are saying.

I think if it's him he was one of the other terrorists, as the guy who was shot got into the building, whereas this guy with a beard was appearing concious on a stretcher (with ambulance) next to where the car hit the railings outside parliament. If I had to guess the other guy was in the car and ran off got into parliament (where he was shot) and the two of them were mowing people down on westmister bridge. The car was outside Big Ben in the railings and pointing having come from the direction of Westminster bridge.

All very sad but it was only a matter of time. Given what's happened on the continent in the last couple of years, it's miraculous we've not been hit until now.

My thoughts are with the families of those that have lost their lives.

Sadly, terrorism is no stranger to this country. Well, we never bowed to terrorism in the past.

We'll NOT be doing so in the future.

Most inciting is done over the internet these days, IP addresses are not particularly sercure or easy for a conviction, sure you get some womble spurting vitriolic nonsense face to face, that happens up and down the country, however, there is enough law to deal with this behaviour and this Conservative government needs no further encouragement in curtailing more freedoms.
Surely not.

kilvil Publish time 26-11-2019 03:12:10

how did that turn out in NI

PiperCub Publish time 26-11-2019 03:12:11

Yes I agree inciting is over the Internet. I think we saw it in one of the above posts.

But groups like choudhary and the guy who killed Lee Rigby who was part of his clan, were doing it in public meetings in the open air, often filmed by tv cameras.

Does being British start with being good humoured, open minded, tolerant and welcoming?

Don't become the thing you despise.

Like that needs explaining? Are you serious?
