The UK Government recently blocked the EU hiking up the import tariffs on all types of steel from the UK (IIRC they only supported increasing the tarrifs of Chinese Re-bar)

But seriously, I don't like nationalism or nationalist parties. They breed division and hatred. The UK is a tiny island, we all need to pull together and find something that works for us all data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

If you don't like nationalism, surely the better answer is for everyone to go their own way? We may be a "tiny island" (or more accurately islands), but there is one hell of a political divide. The differences, if they continue to grow, may prove to be irreconcilable.

Nope sorry, I don't think everyone going their own way is a better answer. Well not for me anyway. I don't see the point of having division or separate groups of people. I think we need to change the political system so it better suits the majority of working families, but I don't think separation is the way forward.
