My main DD collection started when Kevin Smith took over with vol 2. I'd read Millers origin mini series and born again and a got a few of the vol 1 around the time Scott McDaniel was drawing it with some cool glow in the dark covers.

I loved Smiths run and the artwork, struggled with Mack and then Gales story was ok but then came Bendis.  Now that is a run of comics , [-]can't believe Theydon hasn't got all his issues[/-].  Loved the art and the overall storyline, enjoyed Brubaker stint while not as long told a good story with some good punisher involvement this took it to 500. Dingles first few issues were ok but for me Shadowland was a big of miss but I think his plan was rushed by editors so he's not to blame for it all.  The little mini series was ok but Waids run is great just a shame the best two artists  have left.

i was please when in the last few years both Maleev and then JRJR both did signings in Manchester.  I had so much JRJR stuff it was hard to pick 5 but we were allowed to re-queue and wait till the end and I just put my whole pile on the table and he pretty much did it all inc a mint hulk sketch in the hulk 100 special.

I've since got the Miller collections but have no were near as many as Theydon, my hulk run though isn't too bad from 300 right through.

500 - 509, 514, 515, 517, 518?

* Graded by me (comparing others properly graded, and always coming down less rather than more.)

2 - VG*, £67 - May 2012. As described below - cover creases and tatty edges. Internals are nice, slight browning, centre page detached at top.

"Reading/handling wear includes spine wear - there are sections where its very worn/thin/split from a lot of page turning with a few mm eroded at the extremities (a few mm are also split at the bottom, though), spine/staple stress, corner wear/blunting - tiny nicked-off corner triangles top/bottom RHS, there's a tear of about 1cm to the midpoint of the rear cover's LHS edge, nicks at/to its edges/corners - see the top edge which is a bit rough, corner folds - fairly wide ones around its top RHS, a few marks etc."

5 - FN*, £22.55 - May 2012. As described below. The pinup has been cut out with a scalpel? The letters page is also sliced about half way up. Very nice copy though!

"Though it looks a very nice early Daredevil issue this copy of Daredevil # 5, in common with many, is missing its pin-up page from near the rear of the comic book. Given the story, however, is complete & in a neat state, it can be regarded as a nice 'reading' copy. Also there's a name written along the bottom of page 3 and a price (in pencil) to the same page's top RHS corner. Otherwise familiar spine wear, corner blunting, nicks/couple of small edge tears etc."

No 6: VG*, £10?, Late 90's. The Cover has Daredevil which has been drawn round in blue biro.

No 7: FN, £58, 23/09/11. Lovely condition, very very happy (price is normally £120 at this condition), minimal cover creasing, very faint date stamp.

No 8: G , £7.99 - 22/07/11

No 9: FN/FN , £16.78 - 30/09/11. "W to O/W pages with great spine in Fine/Fine  condition.Someone has written 6/7 in pencil on the top of the cover. Overall a beauty"

No 10: FN/VFN (7.0) - £20.37, 29/12/02. At the top of my bid, and worth three times as much, for instance a FN  (6.0) copy normally hits £55. This replaces one I already have in VG- condition. The cover has no obvious creases, little creases and knocks to the edges, lovely copy.

No 11: VG , £7.99, 01/09/11. Classed as VG , but I can't see hardly anything wrong with it. No cover creases at all, no stamps or writing and the very tight all round, and minimal spine creases. If you look side on at the spine, there is some colour loss to the top, but this is being really picky. Compared to other graded comics, I reckon this is easily a FN /VFN-

No 12, VG , £7.99, 01/09/11. A few cover creases but nothing too bad. More obvious round the top and spine.

No 13, FN, £9.61, 27/08/11. No cover creases, just spine creases and slight roll

No 14, fn/fn  £13. No cover creases, minimal spine creases, nice copy.

No 15, VG*, £7. Let down by heavy wear to the spine and multiple spine creases.

No 16, FN *, £15 - Possibly a higher grade? Looks like a really nice copy with no cover creases, just heavy spine wear and some spine creasing.

No 17: VFN- £36, 19/03/12. I looked at loads of copies, and to get one that looked anything like this, I was looking at purchasing from the US at roughly twice the price. Being very picky, there is a bump to the top right, slight ripples or creasing to the top and a slight spine roll to the bottom left. One or two very faint spine creases, but a beautiful cover, no creases. Very happy.

No 18: VFN (7.5) - £24, 29/12/02. I was ready to bid another few quid on top and saved around £5-10 off rrp. If I was being really picky, there is slight spine roll, but with no cover defects, and minimal little blemishes to the edges it really is a lovely lovely copy.

No 19, FN *, £8.50. A little wear to top spine and top right edge. Very faint cover crease if you look really hard.

No 20, FN / VFN, £12. Small corner crease and minimal spine creases.

No 21, VG £8.50. Heavy wear to spine.

No 22, VFN £13

No 23, vg/fn £7.50

No 24, VG*, £4. Tear to top around 1-2cm.

No 25, FN*, £6.50

No 26, VG*, £8

No 27, VG*, £???

No 28, VFN*, £8.50

No 29, VG*, £7

No 30: FN, £12.95 - 22/07/12

No 31: FN/VFN (7.0), £8.27, 29/02/12. Replaces a G (3.0) copy I had, with the cover missing bits and a few holes. I still had £5 more headroom, and probably saved £7  off rrp. Slight spine roll, minimal blemishes to the bottom edge and bottom right corner, lovely cover.

No 32: VFN- (7.5), £9.00, 29/02/12. Replaces another one I have that is not quite as good. I had a few quid headroom on the bid, and probably saved £5  off rrp. Very small and feint corner crease to bottom right is pretty much the only defect along with a few slight spine creases.

Yes, I read the above as you left at 50 and came back at Shadowland and not got them but you aren't missing that many from your second list.

Could count Bullseye : The Target as missing 2  but somehow I don't think we will ever get them shame as issue one was good.

You reading end of days yet?
