Nope, I think the doom mongers and nay sayers have been there since I was a young boy. I think we're doing pretty well tbh. Anyway, I don't have a proposal and why is my proposal to a problem I don't think is as serious as domtheonemore important to you? Surely his response is more important than mine? He thinks it's a major issue after all.

But you said there was a lack of investment in infrastructure. How will this be solved? More people in the country means a greater need for schools and hospitals. Are you going to ignore that? Or do you think we should go further into the deficit to fund it? Or higher taxes? What? Or do you just ask questions of others but have no answers yourself?

I think there should be greater focus on higher direct taxation and lower indirect taxation. There should be greater pressure, perhaps legislation, making corporations pay higher taxes to fund infrastructure projects. Money is cheap to borrow right now so the Government should look to borrow a limited amount to fund certain projects. Scrap HS2 and invest in high speed broadband nationwide for the same amount or less. Incentivise companies to move to the regions to reduce infrastructure pressure on London. Less snark would help

To keep the population growth to management levels.

To quote Cameron, tens of thousands per annum.

If that becomes a problem down the line, even with a strict immigration policy, the next step will be birth control.

I don't think you understood the question but no worries. Your lapdog put me in my place

Birth control doesn't work effectively. It goes against human nature and desire.
