I've just checked the deals on Amazon and they have the play bars and light strip for a steal. Is it worth it though? No one has said if they play bars are any good. I like the look of them and they'll shout behind the TV but the Hue Go isn't that great...

Picked up a Hue Outdoor kit up on Amazon. Great price for the four lights (only still needs to turn up) and a motion sensor. Looking forward to getting them installed.

If you’re going to be getting the hue sync box at some point then the play bars will work better than the hue strip as you’ll be able to have different  colours on each bar. If you just want basic accent lighting behind the TV then the strip is fine
