I have figured out what the problem is with the wireless. It’s my Virgin Superhub 3. It’s crap. The wireless range is awful. I have to be in the same room (upstairs) as the router to get max speed on say my iPhone. I have more devices that use WiFi than Ethernet. If I get a new router or mesh system that has great WiFi that may solve the problem with the wireless but I still need a Ethernet port connection for the Arcam avr850. Maybe a cheap Powerline. And round and round we go!

An update: the gigagate were doing so well until I started playing 4K uhd with dts x. Playing them caused the playback to stutter too much. I am back to using the Ethernet cable. Works flawlessly! Hopefully 802.11ax routers will become cheaper.
