There can only be one winner - Andy Murray. What he has achieved is amazing and hopefully there's lots more to come.
I've said it before and I will say it again - Andy Murray Britain's best sportsman EVER.

Andy Murray is a very fine and talented athlete, currently at the peak of his prowess.  But best ever..?  Hmmm.

"Best ever" is a pretty subjective topic and others might reasonably argue for their own favourite.  I would say he's amongst the best that Britain has ever produced and I could give an opinion who I think tops the list, but it would be immediately disputed.

Frampton was nominated for the Irish version, RTE Sports Personality of the year.

Conor McGregor won it.

Can't argue with that. I think Conor should have been nominated for overseas personality.
apparently Michael Bisping turned down his invitation to attend the ceremony as he wasn't on the short list for contenders. I didn't watch the ceremony but Bisping and Conor should have both at least got a mention.

I thought it was odd that Bisping wasn't nominated.  He made the list before I believe, but given that this year he became the first ever British UFC champ and defended the title (albeit against a pensioner) I thought he'd certainly make the nominations this time.
