Andy Murray - Tennis, Adam Peaty - Swimming, Kate Richardson-Walsh - Hockey, Nick Skelton - Equestrian, Dame Sarah Storey - Cycling, Jamie Vardy - Football, Max Whitlock - Gymnastics, Danny Willett - Golf.

Think it's likely a shoe in for Murray again this year with attaining world number 1.

Some very deserving people otherwise too but I imagine he will take it

I do think the name of the award could do with being changed as no doubt we will get the normal "but he has no personality" rubbish when it's not really about that

My vote will go to Mo Farah, although I think it will be won by Andy Murray and there can be no quibbling with what he has achieved this year.  Wimbledon and Olympic singles titles and finishing the year as World Number One..... Argue with that..!!

After the wretched inclusion of the execrable Tyson Fury on last year's list I think the panel want to shy away from controversial candidates for the foreseeable future  All the candidates this year look "safe".  I'd point out to Celtic 13 that Nicola Adams is on the list so there is a boxer included.

Team of the year should, in my opinion, be Leicester City.  Wales did very well in the Euros, but the Foxes achievement in winning the title, and indeed, qualifying for the later stages of the Champions League is something that has spanned the whole of 2016, not something that peaked over a couple of weeks.

Overseas Personality:  It's difficult to see beyond Usain Bolt.  Again, he is head and shoulders above all other candidates, his achievements are magnificent and he actually has a personality.  He ticks all the boxes for me.
