This is a basic documentary if you have never taken psychedelic drugs, like LSD/acid, mushrooms/shrooms, peyote or mescaline (to name a few).
These drugs occur naturally in plants and have been used by native people, such as the American Indians, and other tribes around the world. These drugs were often used in religious ceremonies and can be used to answer questions about reality or bring you closer to understanding why you exist (that sort of stuff).
The documentary uses a variety of colorful animations along with notable A and B class stars, but they seem to use people only in movies, music and stage, so I think they really missed out on an opportunity to give a better view to the subject. Where is the non-entertainers? Sports jocks? Scientists? Politicians?
Overall, this is an OK, beginners look in to the mind opening drugs which, if taken correctly with being in the presence of people who really care about your well being, then you can have a great experience.
