This story of a woman's fight to seek justice for her husband's murderer spans 30 years, and yet for those of us who remember the incident spans a lifetime. Alec Baldwin is the epitome of a man devoted to lift the blindfold from those who try to emulate Lady Justice, yet fail to remember that she takes no sides. Whoopi Goldberg brought to this performance a drive, inner strength and passion which puts aside her typical whimsical side and shows a versatility few may have expected.
Medgar Evers founded the Civil Rights movement in Mississippi, yet too few people remember exactly who he was or why he was driven to undertake such a battle. This movie is very underrated at 7 out of 10 stars. It is a MUST SEE.
