Just watched Ethos. I was very proud of the Turkish cinema. Watched Winter Sleep, Ahlat Agaci, 7 numarali Kogus. Wonderful movies, series with great messages. Watched Yol. Amazing. From Yilmaz Guney to Nuri Bilge Ceylan and many talented directors and actors were impressive. Then decided to watch 9 Kere Leyla because of the very talented actors and actresses. It was a disappointment. 2 hours with no social message, no personality, no script and no directing. Why? Why waste so many talents? Creativity was frozen and forgotten. Cinematography was horrible. Actors had no clue what was going on. Looked like they had fun between themselves. But remember, movies are made for movie lovers. Just watch great movies like The Parasite and learn how to make movies, again. Bottom line: don't waste your time. Just watch one of the good Turkish movies, again.
