Ferrer does not match up well against Nole at all, and had that long 5-set match with Almagro. The winner of this gets an extra days rest than the other finalist which would be nice for them after the ridiculous USO scheduling last September. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Novak showed no sign of fatigue vs Berdych, but Ferrer has beaten Nadal here.

Federer vs Murray should be a great match. Murray is probably the favourite but Federer hasn't had an overly taxing match in the tournament yet, his 5 set match with Tsonga today was 3 hours and 34 minutes which is less than you'd expect (Djokovic vs Wawrinka was 5 hours and 2 minutes). There's also case to suggest that a competitive match helps. Federer vs Benneateau at Wimbledon (he was 2 sets down and 5-4 down in the third set tiebreak) did him no harm.

I expect Federer to win as he's never lost to Murray in a Slam, beat him in their last meeting at the O2 and seems as fit as ever.

I predict a Andy v Novak Final.Mainly because they are the Best 2 players in the World at the moment. Oh and I hope Andy wins because he is British. Am I allowed to say that ?

Wow, Djokovic beat Ferrer 6-2 6-2 6-1 in less than 90 minutes, and he has an extra day to rest. Looking good for Nole!

Ferrer always flatters to deceive. So I never expected him to put up a fight. Murray is favourite (the bookies are never far wrong) for tomorrows game with Fed. I think he is going to do it especially after giving him a tanking in the Olympics.

I expect Federer to win tomorrow but of course Murray is capable of beating him. I think the neutral wants a Nole-Federer final. It's the most common fixture in GS Open Era history - they've played 11 times, Federer leading 6-5 - but only one match was a final and that was the 2007 USO when Novak was just 20. Though I'm biased being a massive Nole fan, IMO this match up is the most entertaining in tennis. The 2011 USO SF is my favourite tennis match that I've ever seen so I hope they can replicate that in a final, the AO being my favourite Slam.

Anybody else watching this SF between AM & RF - pretty good stuff - not as good as ND's performance against DF yesterday but still pretty good - Murray 2-1 up atm - looking good to take it as well.

Thought AM had that 4th set - the resilience of RF shows again - that's 2 sets lost in this whole tournament for AM, both on tie breaks

Hope the thought of never beating RF in a slam isn't in the back of his mind.

Murray v Novak final then

I'll definitely be up early for that one! Clearly the two best mens players presently in the sport
