'The Single Mom's Club' contains what some will call "typical" stereotypes, but there's something about stereotypes that most people forget - they're generally accurate. You won't find any overly creative characters here. As usual there's a bit of morality in the theme and emotions between the characters. It's a "girly" movie. Women, without or without children, will get it. t's really about women bonding and being there for each other. The jokes fell flat, which surprised me. Tyler Perry movies are usually genuinely funny to me. I get the feeling that Tyler Perry tried to re-invent himself with this movie. The drama was toned down. still, I liked it a lot.
