I see a black Maserati Quattroporte everyday on the way home from work so nothing special there, but saw a 2008 Maserati Granturismo S in lichfield yesterday though.

Seen a lamborghini countach on the motorway before, no way could i catch it for a better look.

Also seen a orange Pagani Zonda F, Sounds just as good as it looks.

Use to be a Jaguar XJ220 in my local dealer but its gone now.

I used to work next to the Landmark Hotel in Marylebone. Often some very very expensive stuff parked outside of that. Phantoms, Maybachs, SLRs. 3 yellow Murcielago's with arabic number plates in a row parked outside once.

Possibly the most interesting non-stupidly-expensive rare car I've seen recently was a Renault Sport Spider. You don't see many of those on the road.

My Dad had one when I was a kid, can still smell the leather and wood interior.

My dad had the old S-Type when i was a kid, very similar to the MKII just with a longer boot.

Know what you mean about the wood/leather smell, can still imagine it now!

I don't know how rare it is elsewhere but, for the first time, I saw a nice shiny black Audi R8 in the car park at Sainsbury's Hull a few days ago. It looks even more stunning in the flesh and has the effect of temporarily making every other nearby car look like a piece of cheese.

I live near the bentley factory in good old crewe, so see a couple of Bentleys being test driven daily. However a couple of weeks ago a koenigsegg ccx drove past me, that was a bit of a shock . They are probably as rare as veyrons. !

Spent many a time driving round South London in the early 70s with my Dad trying to find an S Type to px his MK 2 against - longer boot and IIRC the front arches had a slight flare to them. Still one of my favourite cars along with the MK 10.
The leaping Jag was missing from the bonnet so we went to a scrap yard got another one which my Dad let me carry in the car.I dropped it getting out and broke the tail off it
Another time playing in the street I kicked a tennis ball which went through and inside the side sill - it was rusting to pieces
