On a good day! Can’t imagine it’s fun to drive either, though that’s not relevant here I think

Yeah the IS300h isn't a looker, but then again neither is my Toyota. A V12 would be... interesting and I'm sure very comfortable but I fear a touch expensive on the running costs.

Just out of interest because I've never seen it listed as being a must. Why cooled seats ?

I hate being too warm in the car. I have AC at home as well, that's how much I hate being hot.

It’s one of those things, if you’ve never experienced it you won’t get the greatness of them. But I agree with the OP they are lovely.

It’s to be said that there are different kind of systems. On VAG I think they operate by fans that extract air, might be different on higher end models. Still very nice.

And if I’m not mistaken BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar/LandRover use a different system where they are actually cooling. Best way of describing it is like sitting on the side of a pool and getting refreshed without getting your trousers wet

It could be, it could not be Who knows.

The V12 7 series I had was fine, just had to change tyres and brake pads during the 30K mile ownership.

That's what I thought about the 550i. That thing cost me £5k in repairs over 18 months. Worst car I ever bought. To be fair, the Internet has lots on that particular unreliable engine, I should have done my research.
