Me and a mate just did a TD at cadwell on our bikes, first one of the year. Had a big slide on 3rd session at Chris curve which slowed me down a bit, camera was on my mates bike at the time though. This is him being an idiot during same session and forgetting to check something before session.

Kind of fancy a blat around Brands' indy circuit again.
But not ridden a bike in probably 15 years now, so might just drive the van and transport my mate while he practises sliding up the start finish straight on his backside again.

Wouldn't mind taking my car to a track day but castle Combe my nearest is £170 for the day.  Is that about the going rate and what is the general consensus on insurance?

You won’t get track insurance at sensible money, so just be a bit more careful when an off could be a big one. If you do damage two options

Pay up, or move and relocate your off to the road

this is insurance fraud, so not a good plan.
