Hoping someone can put my out if my misery in this one. I have managed to snap off one of the plastic supports that attaches the parcel shelf holder to thpick parcel shelf string.  Hopefully the attached photos make it clear.

The car is a VW Golf Mk6 1.4 SE.  The plastic knob appears to be part of the interior trim on the bootlid but I cannot for the life of me find the name of this part so I can order the replacement.  Does anyone know what trim is called so I k ow what I’m searching for?!

It's called 'trim panel for hatch gate' and the part number is 5K6867603.

Number 1 in the picture. It's the whole 'hoop' that goes up each side and over the top.

Not quite, think that's for the parcel shelf end but thanks for the suggestion.

I think you'll find that these parts are a direct replacement for the broken pegs so that you don't have to replace the whole trim...you just drill a bigger hole then push them in and lock them in with a peg in the centre.
