There's nothing like a test drive with a desperate sales man who's not hitting his targets to make any vehicle more "budget friendly" if your keen to do a bit of haggling and always happy to sit silent so they have to talk first, then be prepared to walk away and await the phone call. [emoji6]

I would recommend the skoda Octavia - we have one that’s done around 50,000 and it’s been great. We also have a Nissan pulsar which has much more rear leg room than I would have expected. Both are great cars, but the Octavia boot is huge!

Skoda Superb estate has heaps of rear legroom and good rear seats. Boot is big too.

Edit - not sure what you would get for your budget over there but the saloon has the good space and a good boot if you go the rack route for bikes.

Back seats are a real problem. Our friend has a daughter just coming up to 3 with twins due shortly. Try finding a car with back seats to take 3 baby child/seats! Anyone got a solution?

When we had this problem we got a Multimac

Child Car Seats - 4 Child Car Seat, 3 Child Car Seat & Accessories

Looks like this - here in a Mini convertable

It has an infant seat which clips in:

For your requirements especially the three full rear seats i would suggest a nice used Honda FRV and not the CRV

My C4 Picasso easily fits three child seats across the rear seat. Usually we put the eldest (booster cushion) in the front and the two baby seats (eleven months and three years) in the back with the wife behind me and the middle rear seat slid forward a few inches so she can more easily see the youngest.

I'm talking about grandkids BTW.

Excuse my blinkers but, she liked the Jazz
So get an FRV 3 3 seats?
Get an Accord, maybe a nice 2.4 with leather?
Go the extra mile and get her a Legend (its got a snow button, honest)
Trust me - you’ll never look back

Oh, and pass ya test and get a Prelude
Nothing - nothing would persuade me me to buy a car that wasn’t Japanese.
Frankly it would take a lot to convince me to not to buy another Honda
Absolutely Bullet-proof
