Just been in theme works in Chatham. They had loads of marvel graphic novels in there. Good prices too

Does have those very nice 'Chronicles' guidebooks though.

Finished reading Secret Invasion yesterday.

By god that's the most confusing ott comic I have ever read.

I picked up a couple of the early books in the saga (Captain Marvel, Who do you Trust, Home Invasion, Thor & Infiltration) but still pretty much nothing that happened in the main book made much sense & just stumbled from one big encounter to the next.

I appreciate I never read the rest of the books but you can be buggered if you think I'm reading 14 other books (aside from what I did read) just to make sense of it all.

Marvel seriously need to re-think these mega crossovers they are just way too much.

I'm dreading getting into Siege & Fear Itself as both are of a similar ilk with regards to the amount of side books involved.

I really wish I had gotten into comics earlier in my life.

I had a small collection of Jay and Silent bob comics and a Gambit and Bishop set of comics, I packed into a box and I can no longer find them.

I know they were not worth a lot, but I am annoyed they got misplaced and possibly even thrown away in a tidy up or the house move.

Its all a trade off isnt it? Yes you may have a tidy little collection if you had started younger, but now you have a better disposable income to be able to catch up
