Charity, friends or keep. But slowly going to digital for most of my books (travel about 6 months a year for work) so keeps the luggage weight down.

Am I the only one raising an ironic eyebrow at the misspelling of the thread?

Both the missus and I have Kindles now so the days of overflowing cardboard boxes should be nearly at an end. And yes, of course you get the same satisfaction with a Kindle, it's the same words after all.

Recently sold a load of books to webuybooks.co.uk, painless and paid for a decent meal out.

I'm keeping all mine to read again even better if by then i've lost my memory or they've invented a pill that gives you total memory loss for a set period of time. I'd love the latter in order to read/watch favourite things again. Trouble is you'd have to plan it well or you'd forget what your favourite was !

They go in a box on top of my old wardrobe at my nans house. Probably should give them away or something instead of them just sitting there

If it's one I liked then it is added to the shelves, if not then it I either sell it or give it to charity.

Will never go digital with books, not a fan.

Generally speaking, I keep them.  I *never* throw them away (what a waste - you could at least recycle them).  Ones I didn't enjoy go to the charity shop, as do ones that I'm not likely to read again or which are out of date (e.g. travel books).

I took a load of books to a second-hand book shop (50 or more, all in good condition).  After first telling me that there was no market for any of them, the owner then offered me £5 for the whole lot.  I declined and donated them all to Oxfam, who will sell them, but it will be for a good cause.
