Now that i have finished reading the last game of thrones book i though i would move onto the discworlds series.

i have read different reports in what i order i should read the books, just wondering what order people read them on here. I have just started the first book

I've read them in the order they were written, not by design - I'm just an old got and picked up on them after the 4th one, so I've just got them as they've come out.

Although, in general, they're not chronological, there tends to be a kind of chronology within each "group" - witches, The Watch, Death, etc.

It's probably best to just read them in the order they were written (Discworld - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)...

FWIW, my favourite is probably Mort.

As Bob says, read them in order - then later, you can cherry pick your favourite 'group' I for instance like Witches and the Guard series.
