Hello, please forgive me if this is the wrong place. I am a home DJ and mess about with synths. I have a problem with my Pioneer DDJ 400 controller where i have snapped off the crossfader. I have found the part i need DWX4157 which is the fader and a small circuit board which clips in and is a two minute job to replace. Pioneer are most unhelpful and want £40 just to inspect it before providing me with a quote for the repair. I have found the part in USA at £70 plus £40 shipping to UK.
My question is does anyone know where i can get Pioneer spare parts, particularly part DWX4157. I have attached a photo of the problem

I also have an Arturia Drumbrute Impact on ebay currently at £200 brand new if anyone is interested.

ebay have that part cheaper. if you buy from outside the EU you will get customs charged thought.

Pioneer DJM-400 DJM400 DJM 400 X fade  Cross Fade Slider Pot DCV1006 Genuine spare part

don't know the company but that looks like the fader without the board, which sounds like a solder job is required. you could check the part number to see if it's cheaper elsewhere

for the cost of repair you may be better selling it second hand and buying a new one or doing a DIY job to put the fader knob back on - if the fader still works
