The tail wagging the dog I guess. Makes you wonder about leadership really.

May gave up any pretense to Leadership when she started lying.

Bribing the DUP with some more pocket money will likely be enough.

I think that’s personal opinion, because she also mentions a deal that divides the country as being bad.

The thing with compromises is no one is truly happy because no one gets what they want

Yes but remember it's only the Remainers who are to blame. Nothing to do with the meddling ERG of course

It's going to be an interesting 48 hours anyway. As I said above, it's quite clear the DUP will do alright out of this if they back May.

Then as there is no deal that unites the country leaving with no-deal is the only option.

We saw how weak she was this week when some of her Cabinet members ignored collective ministerial responsibility and voted against the Government on a 3 line whip. Not only did those Ministers not have the integrity to resign, May didnt even have the power to sack them.

Apart from no deal doesn’t unite the country and is far worse than Mays deal, so makes no sense!  But you knew that anyway

Bit like choosing between chocolate and mint ice cream and chocolate and orange ice cream, and because both sides don’t agree you choose marmite ice cream I guess.

No you are wrong - in the Country no-deal is a far more preferable option than Mays deal. Leaving with no deal is the most popular option out of all the available ones.

How does Parliament request a delay from the EU? It doesn't - that is the role of the Government. The purpose of this thread was to discuss the binary choice facing Parliamemt if meaningful vote 3 is put to it this week.

I have to say, it is very telling that it is the Brexiteers that don't get this poll. Perhaps because they continue to believe in fantastical options. I can't believe anyone really thinks that 29 March is a date that is even possible now...

If the deal is rejected again and the EU refuse an extension, we leave on the 29th with no deal. Still seems possible to me.
