Even if he's heavily defeated he won't step down. He ignored a vote of no confidence from his own party.

More from the hard left:

                                                                                                                                                                                                        Labour backlash erupts after Margaret Hodge triggered for reselection contest                                                                                                        A fresh Labour row has erupted after it emerged party veteran Margaret Hodge could be kicked out as an election candidate after being "triggered" by activists in her seat.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                www.politicshome.com
The former minister - an outspoken critic of Jeremy Corbyn - said she was "disappointed" after Labour branches in her Barking constituency vote for her to face a reselection ballot.

New rules drawn up at last year’s Labour conference mean only a third of constituency branches are needed to trigger a reselection, whereas it was previously 50%.

Yes. He won't go as long as he's propped up by the extreme fringe of his party, the Momentum morons.  They'll simply see a Corbyn loss as a problem with the people who didn't vote for him rather than with their leader.

I take it the same actions by "triggered activists" to invoke re-selections of Tory MPs who don't support a No Deal Brexit is equally disappointing?  Dominic Grieve springs to mind.

Hodge also wasn't the first;

First Labour MP faces reselection as local activists trigger ballot

A bit like the article you linked to that has the final half dedicated to Corbyn/antisemitism.  Has there been any official statement about the reason for the reselection being called?

I’m not against Labour but Corbyn version is just hopeless. That is not to say that the question is phrased in such a way it almost predetermined the answer. That is all I have to say.

Oh the humanity, won’t somebody think of the children Again though, this one-sided screengrab has been used before to try and denigrate Jess Phillips, it would be interesting to see the full conversations.

Joking aside, doesn’t that make her an MP in touch with the electorate, or are you suggesting that you’ve never seen or heard anyone swear before?

As would I!

Bar John McDonnell as leader I cannot think of anyone else who could take Labour lower in the polls.

I support Jess!
