If an MP is sentenced to a year (or longer) in Prison then they have to vacate the seat immediately from what I remember of the Representation of the People Act 1981.

Must admit, if I had a lot of emails in my inbox I'd cobsider speeding and blaming others.

I hope she realises if she is claiming to have this illness she might lose her license forever.
