You said previous you'd accept the WA. What was in it was what you'd have expected to have been.

Now you say it's been voted down with good reason. Are you referring only to the backstop?

As if not, why would one day the remainder of the WA be acceptable, but then the next it isn't?

Your memory is failing you, I have NEVER said the WA that is currently on the table is acceptable. On the contrary, I've been very vocal and highlighted within hours of publication what the problem is. Well before parliament cottoned on to it. And even over very recent times, I've repeatedly highlighted what they need to do to make it acceptable, ergo it isn't acceptable.

Can we keep the Brexit stuff in the Brexit thread?

Bit difficult to discuss a GE at this juncture without Brexit creeping into the conversation?

It is, but as the posts above are starting to discuss the same old arguments again. Before long that's all this thread will become.

People really hating the Tories aren’t they? Can’t imagine why the opposition keep running away from a GE.

Was there no BP candidate in that one?

Result pretty much as expected.
Terrible turnout though, again that is of no surprise.

It’s almost like people are thinking their votes don’t matter. Can’t think why

Nobody gets my vote.

Why?

No politician can change this nation.
