I should have placed a bet on Macron a while back! But I don't think it's a foregone conclusion. Fillon endorsed him when conceding earlier, but will all his voters really turn to Macron? And Mélenchon supporters might go for a disruptor like Le Pen rather than a centrist, or stay away - like the Bernie or Bust / Anyone But Hillary anti-"establishment" bunch last year.

Macron might look like a fresh independent candidate but he is very much the man the financial establishment are happy with. He is one of them. A former Rothchilds banker...
Who financed his campaign?
This makes interesting reading- yes it is almost tin foil stuff, but good to know there is also a backstory.

Don't think this is a guy who has almost become President just because of his fresh face and young looks.
Macron: Another Political Puppet of the Rothschilds

What is this Rothschild's puppet hiding?

There is only one answer: Macron is a phony candidate who represents the interests of no society or class. He is merely a comely manager hired by the globalist elite.

Julian Assange has reported that WikiLeaks has compromising dirt on Macron.

Le Pen will win.

Most people are afraid to say who they will vote for because people will jump on them.

There's nobody to jump on them when they are alone casting their vote.

For the UK and Brexit, Macron is likely to be a thorn in the side. He is a staunch Europhile, is close to Merkel and the Euro gained value on the news he won.

Not just tinfoil stuff - bringing up Rothschilds is a common antisemitic trope

Well I would leave that sort of stuff for Corbyn and his labour party!
The point is we should not think this is just an ordinary guy who was not part of the establishment. Its nice to think he was not prepared to be part of the main political parties, became an independent and from nowhere found himself President of France.
A fairy tail.. Well not quite...

Nobody really thinks that. But this "establishment"/"globalist" conspiracy claptrap from the usual suspects is risible.

As he was a member of Hollandes party and a minister in his government, its stretching credibility that he could ever be considered not part of the establishment..

The Speccy actually argues that his rise was all engineered by Hollande..

The real winner of the French presidential election? François Hollande | Coffee HouseMiller does go a bit tin foil with Fillon stuff. Macron's establishment credentials have always been there to see; it's not like they could be airbrushed out of very recent history.
