Yeah this side of 2020. If Trump gets in again I'd be worried what he wants to get upto with a clear 4 year path ahead of him.

He's just the type of egotistical character to want to leave a legacy and do something to be remembered by. Starting a few wars wouldn't be beyond him.

Especially with  so many hawks around the White House.
They want power and don't care how many lives are lost or destroyed in the process.
Sadly I suspect some of them use casualty figures as a measure of success.

The carrier is still having sea trials. It has quite a lot of aircraft, including 18 F35s so far.

Plus a leak like that is common on the shakedown cruise, that is what it is there for.
A bit bigger than is usual I admit but common.

I'm very surprised you actually think US and UK spent cash on rebuilding Afghanistan, curious to know how many Billions were spent outside the war for the Afghan people and government?

The UK and US are reaping great benefits from these war, they'll spend $50 billion on the war but earn $100 billion in the long term. Look at the greater influence they have in the middle east now then they did 20 years ago. They've manage to control the oil flow when most middle eastern leaders were going to sabotage and nationalise it.

Are they? Didn't the UK start it off with their ships?
Didn't the MI6 and CIA topple their democratic government?
Didn't the US tear up a deal several nations agreed it?
Didn't the US and UK support Saddam with Western weapons during the Iraq/Iran war?
Why is and the US and UK continue to hold cash that even the UK/US court has rightly ruled it should be returned back to Iran?
CIA/MI6 have confirmed several times, Iran are very, very far from creating a Nuclear Warhead. Even at the higher Uranium levels they can't enrich this for Nuclear Warhead, every dummy politicians know this but they're counting on people like you to start worrying and start your anti-iran stance.

My comments were more aimed at the amount of military hardware the UK brought specifically for that operation - at the expense of other equipment programmes - which has resulted in our Armed Forces having significant capability shortfalls leaving us woefully unprepared for situations such as that brewing with Iran.

Again, they U.K has already benefited from the war.

We are exporting more weapon arms to the middle east then we were before, you do realise militant groups around the world are using Americana and Britain made weapons???

"The War is Worth Waging": Afghanistan's Vast Reserves of Minerals and Natural Gas - Global Research

...just one of the many many resources. I would include heroin but I'm afraid you'd call me names.
