You might require an eye test, as there was no shock from AOC, only mild frustration with Homan's inability to answer a question. Seems like you should move on. Clearly parts of the internet are having a circle jerk over this, and you thought it would fly here.

Search Youtube and >90% of videos featuring this exchange are Fox branded and labelled to suggest Homan destroys AOC.  If the right consider this AOC's "destruction", or, "humiliation", I think it shows just how competent she is and how big a threat the right perceive her to be.

I'm really not sure.

It appears that Homan is using their illegal entry as carte blanch justification for everything that happens to them after entry including family separation and holding in inhuman conditions.  He constantly likens their actions to a traditional arrest process after which a citizen has some of their rights suspended.  

AOC's argument (and that of the UN) is that illegal entry alone doesn't make them actors of illegal activity and until they have their asylum claim heard and rejected, are wholly innocent and deserve humane and respectful treatment.
