Please try (hard) and understand this is not a deflection to Labour. The demographic is quite broad as you have shown. Now If you use the same demographic with other groups and find the result is the same you know it’s not Tory specific.
And I think that is very likely.

Do me a favour and try not to patronise me.

How is it not a deflection to Labour, when your first response to the actual survey result was;

There is no specific demographic, it’s a whole range of age/sex/location/Remain/leave but they’re all Conservative Party members, which was the point of the survey.

The fact that you feel it may be very likely that Labour members may feel the same way towards Muslim people is your opinion, not based on anything it appears.

Sorry to be patronising again but this will be my last attempt as we must be boring the pants off everyone.
Please don’t get sensitive because I mentioned Labour. I also mentioned vegans.
Point being the survey itself was out to prove Tories are bad because they only asked Tories. Maybe they should have asked the same questions to a non political group as a base mark. Then the poll would actually say something.

Were those people forced to give the results they gave, just to make themselves look bad?  Have you considered that maybe that was their actual views?

I’m not being sensitive because you’ve mentioned Labour, I’m just a little shocked at how you have so far tried to deflect away from the actual survey results and spent more time trying to argue that someone else ‘might’ say the same thing.  The fact is, and I hate to go all straw man, if this survey was conducted with Labour members and came out with the same results I’d guess that you’d be all over it and labelling everyone, as seen in other threads on here.

As it is, there’s no straight answer, even a generic condemnation, which I have to say is a little disappointing.

With the usual suspects you're just wasting your time mate.

By the same ridiculous reasoning, asking any group to answer a survey of questions, could be construed as trying to make them look bad.

We know if a survey with a more "positive" outcome had have been done, it would have of course been absolutely fine Or better yet if it was one making Labour look bad over anti-semitism.

Please explain "ridiculous reasoning"? Let's drop defending labour for 10 seconds. Then we might be able to get a sensible discussion on the results.   Lets look at any other groups or just anyone. (train spotters, Libdems, Greens?)
Do you think that if you selected and asked the same question to the same demographic the results would be any different?

Why not just comment on the actual results presented, instead of trying to come up with excuses?

Why can't we comment on the context of the results?

How can any conclusions be drawn without knowing how this compares to the general population?

Or indeed whether you might see some polarisation of results.

For instance, perhaps the Tories are more islamaphobic, but less anti Semitic and vice versa for labour?

But if you just want to point to a poll in isolation to justify booing the Tories then just carry on as you are.

I’m sorry, is that how polls normally work? “Here are the results of the poll but has anyone considered ‘what if’ rather than discuss the actual because it looks a bit bad for those who answered...”

As for the constant need to bring Labour into this thread, that’s just basic deflection.  I take it you’ve said the same in the numerous threads on here regarding Labour antisemitism where the general response is to say it’s a Labour problem?

Suggesting that perhaps the Tories are more islamaphobic but less antiSemitic doesn’t make either of them right!

Ok, let’s bring Labour into it then.  Assuming this was the survey outcome, whose first response here would be, “..but let’s think about how Conservatives may have responded, and surely any demographic might say the same” without getting ripped apart;

40% of Labour members want a limit on Jewish immigration.

43% of Labour Party members "would prefer to not have the country led by a Jew."

45% believe that "there are areas in Britain in which non-Jews are not able to enter."

67% believe that "there are areas in Britain that operate under Halakha law."

39% believe that "Jewish terrorists reflect a widespread hostility to Britain amongst the Jewish community."
