As of 8 left to declare.

Remarkable that when the Conservative's make that many losses, Labour aren't even making any gains.

Corbyn should be resigning as much as May!

The Tories will do practically anything to ensure that doesn't happen

I think there are quite a few Labour MPS who could take over from Corbyn.
But those who are now front runners to take over from May are controversial figures, making the succession decision difficult in the extreme.

That is significantly worse than they were expecting.  The Tories were braced for 800-900 losses and quoted 1000 seats to manage expectations.  But the end result was an order of magnitude greater...

Likewise for Labour, they hoped for 400 odd seats but had a net loss of 82.  Not as bad as the Tories but still very bad for an Opposition Party.

Well done to the Lib Dems though for breaking the 700 barrier and the Greens must be fairly happy at 265 as well.

Yup.  I read as bad as 1000 a few days back.  Then perhaps only 5-600 damage limitation.

1300 lol.

The PM really should step down.

Alas, she’ll need to be dragged out kicking and screaming.

Doesn't an order of magnitude generally suggest an increase by a factor of 10?
