^^^ just to save time (as we've had this before)
logiciel may respond with something about phobe/phobia pertaining to fear (better still with homophobia ... "a fear of something that's the same" ), then I'll probably point out that it has been established as also pertaining to hate/aversion for many years, and in chemistry for even longer as pertaining to exclusion/repulsion effects with molecules (e.g. hydrophobicity)

Have the forums now started using Gobbldegook as the preferred language? I thought hydrophobicity was a fear of a submerged London.

A fear of Europe the contention would be somewhat irrational.
A concern about the direction of the EU is nothing but genuinely held by a number of people (who can rationally and calmly explain their reasoning).
There are others that have an ideological issue with all that is foreign, while there are still others that hold all that is foreign above domestic, a niche of this demonizes the domestic.

There are also those that have a deep seated love of the EU regardless of their foibles, issues and genuine problems.

Europhobe is a poor straw man invented to diminish the concerns of others who would rather play the man rather than the issue.  Childish really.

Tbh I've rarely heard the term Europhobe, but certainly Eurosceptic.

Was probably applied to the fruitcake element of the kippers to reflect their xenophobia.

I agree. Last few posts were really about a certain member's habit of waylaying those he disagrees with for their perfectly acceptable and widely understood language ... Certainly a serial player of the man not the ball

Xenosceptic? Perhaps a better term for certain UKIP supporters than xenophobic...
