That is not the full story.
He had a malignant tumor removed from his brain on the 24th of July and then on the 22nd of August, further brain surgery.
The doctors clearly warned against the risks of transporting him anywhere in his condition but the parents took him out of hospital just 4 days after the brain surgery and then were found in Spain two days later, Ashya needing urgent medical treatment at a Spanish hospital.
A report on the case established that the parents actions had reduced Ashya's survival chances by 30%.

It could have gone horribly, horribly wrong, but thankfully it didn't.

As IG said, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Of course, taking the child out of the UK was risky. But the parents did their research, knew what was required and took that risk. They did the best for their child. Unless you are suggesting that if he had continued treatment in the UK the outcome would have been the same? Remember, there was no machine in the UK.
Just to be clear, you are still supporting the idea he should have continued in Southampton?
