The use of the Bobby Sands funeral picture is always worth a laugh at showing the desperate hatred some express towards JC. No denying he met with Sinn Fein, but the funeral picture is ridiculous. Not only would it have been headline news in the Tory's disastrous smear attempt last year, which it wasn't, there's literally zero evidence he was there. It does look like Jeremy though, Jeremy Beadle!

It just goes to show how suggestible people are, I'd always accepted that it was Jeremy, but that third picture, in particular, doesn't look like him at all.

How do we know that's the same guy in the 2nd and 3rd pictures?

In the second picture he seems to be wearing a light coloured jumper. In the third one you can see a collar, but that looks like a shirt collar to me.

It could well be the same guy, but those pics don't prove that.

It just lessens any argument made against him. There's plenty to criticise him for, but stuff that is clear rubbish just ends up adding to his popularity. If we're ever in the position of a JC PM, the ardent Tory diehards are going to have to take some of the blame.

As someone who likes evidence then, other than having a beard, is there a single thing that even hints at the picture being JC? Any piece of evidence that he was at the funeral at all?
