And many are.

A lot of civil servants are just administrators and paper pushers.

But regardless, if their pension schemes are so poor it will be easy to find a better pension scheme in the private sector.

Is that what they call it, so there are no transferable skills. Don't you mean employers hold staff accountable. Lol @ Specialised.

Has as already been said my myself and others, very difficult to match jobs, despite your derogatory remarks.

Maybe a bank clerk given you assume they're just pen pushers.

Sounds like a typical DM strap line.

Squiffy, for someone who makes a big thing about context, I am surprised by you relying on that link given those figures:
- Ignore bonuses (more common in private sector than public sector)
- Does not differential between degree qualifications
- Ignores the fact that most low paid, low skilled civil service jobs have been pushed out to the private sector

I would also say the anecdotal evidence we are both seeing with our own eyes - you in your IT world and me in the aviation sphere - is that we in the private sector get paid more.

The problem we have in this country is a press which seems to thrive on trying to create division in society by posting stories that more often than not have just a grain of truth to them with a huge amount of embroidery and very little in the way of facts.

It's exactly the same situation with the brexit debate i.e. lies and counter-lies.

So a Tory MPs word outweighs hard statistics?

You guys are so funny. Find evidence, not this silly tittle tattle of he-said.

Quite frankly I doubt you would believe or accept any link provided as it's clearly not part of your agenda.  You gorge information from the likes of the DM or DE and it completely clouds you judgement.  Politics of envy is what I call it.

You have this odd world view (for whatever reason) so best just leave it at that.
