Labour took Kensington. Conservatives also pulled off a string of shocks.

Mansfield, Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland, and Stoke-on-Trent South as well as seats like North East Derbyshire, which was last held by a Conservative in 1931.

Actually, this is the reason that she can't go - resigning would end up with a Marxist Corbyn government. So yes she is damaged and her credibility is shot, but she will be kept in place until the Brexit talks are finalised.  Once the Brexit issue is neutralised , then normal voting patterns will return.

Don't forget that a lot of the foreign rich nationals aren't allowed to vote in general elections.

If Brexit is going to be so good, why isn't there huge line of people in the Tory party waiting to take over at the earliest opportunity to get credit as leader? If the Tory party has no credible alternative to May, then they are in as bad a position as Labour were said to be before the election. If they have credible alternatives to May, then why let her mess up Brexit? Unless it's going to be a sh*tstorm anyway.

There haven't been whispers of others 'taking soundings' nor putting together a leadership campaign team.

Only one person is being talked up, and she's sat in a different parliament.

All contenders from last year are biding their time and along with other ambitious colleagues are making use of current human shield leader until she's fully broken.

Quite the final nail in her political coffin will be 'signing' the Brexit divorce bill 'cheque', assuming the talks don't just collapse in which case she'll go then.
