Might be the case of his own supporters in the PLP deciding he needs to be removed, but Corbyn is clueless about the plotting (he does appear isolated and controlled by Milne and co). If anyone is going to stick the knife into Corbyn it will likely be  Mcdonnell.

He'd be a good choice. Though I much prefer Dan Jarvis, not sure why exactly. From what I remember the Tories are apparently not keen on Jarvis becoming Labour Leader. As his military service negates a lot of typical Tory attacks on Labour. Though if Corbyn quit or was forced out by his own PLP supporters ? Remains to be seen if Jarvis will stand, his focus has been on his children for understandable reasons. So I think it will likely boil down to Starmer vs Clive Lewis, plus any surprise candidates.

Clive Lewis is a capable speaker, it's no wonder Corbyn's shadow cabinet is ineffective when his aides pull off stunts like this - Revealed: Shadow defence minister 'punched' wall in fury after Jeremy Corbyn's aides changed pro-Trident renewal speech minutes before he went on stage

I think Corbyn might rue the day he insisted on the 3 line whip, Clive Lewis free of the shadow cabinet ? Explosive times head for Corbyn possibly.

Labour's secret polls for Corbyn's replacement
The party's own research put him as Britain's most unpopular party leader, after UKIP's Paul Nuttall and the Lib Dems' Tim Farron as well as Theresa May and Nicola Sturgeon, it is claimed.

Voters branded "boring", "fed up" and "looks like a scruffy school kid"

Looking more likely that Jeremy will have to get his P45

For the sake of Labour as an opposition party, this needs to happen sooner rather than later.

Just watching the Andrew Marr show, and even Rachel Shabi has dropped her usual unconditional defense of Corbyn and seems to be open to the idea of a replacement.

The Tory Party will be very sorry to see Jeremy go.

Just watched Marr, watching Peston now, and about to watch Brillo.

It's unfortunate for poor Peston to be sandwiched between these two - it looks so amateurish in comparison. I really don't need someone pressing a touchscreen to give an update of political events in words of two syllables or less.

It's kind of like John Craven's newsround for politics....

^^^ TBF news bulletins on the primary channels (BBC1, ITV ... errr Channel 5) are now dumbed down to a level lower than John Craven's Newsround of the 70s/80s, and they've certainly matched Chris Morris' early 90s parody The Day Today.

Absolutely, that's why I think it's noteworthy that she's no longer gushing over Corybn.
