I wouldn't say you can't beat Stella for guzzling but certainly when funds don't allow for an expensive beer basket/trolley, it's always a good fall back beer.

Yup we eat and  drink at The Chaser , busy pub especially in the summer. Take a trip to The Moody Mare ( used to be Beeches ) along Seven Mile Lane . Good food and great cask beers .

Borrowed my brother in laws equipment and tried one of the Festival kits this summer, I think it was the Golden Stag.

Came up really tasty but a bit light (2.6%). Think this is mainly down to poor temp control during fermentation.

Found the process with the kits really simple and a good starting point.

Going to buy my own gear now and try some others over winter. The thing I need to invest in really is bottles, it was ok in a barrel for a BBQ but if you want to keep it longer I think it needs bottling.

Yes I've been drinking that one for years mainly from supermarkets and occasionally from Wetherspoons. Many years ago they did a big push on it in the UK. TV ads with Elliot Gould and you could get it on draft in pubs.

Called into a little Tesco on the off chance they had some Brew Dog, and they had one single bottle of Punk IPA. Will have to make a trip to the big one for the Elvis Juice. Dammit.
