Ever since i fell off my mountain bike last year and landed on my neck, every now again i'll get a pinched nerve in the bottom of my neck/top spine which spreads to the top of my arms, now usually it goes within a week but it's come back again and i've been in agony for 2 weeks now, Even on Saturday i woke up crying because i was in so much pain and couldn't move for ages!

Been to doctors who have referred me to physio in the hospital but it could be a month or more before i get an appointment there just wondering does anyone have any good home exercises to do?

And wondering too does anyone know if posture support braces like this actually work? Modetro Sports Posture Corrector Spinal Support - Physical Therapy Posture Brace for Men or Women - Back, Shoulder, and Neck Pain Relief - Spinal Cord Posture Support Black Small (S) 30 - 38 in: Amazon.co.uk: Health & Personal Care

although i think this one might be better for now?

My physio told me not to use the posture braces.  She said that I need to be able to do it by myself, but then out situations may be entirely different.

what I would say though is before you spend £20 on a brace, spend £40 on a private physio session.

I could just have been lucky but I found that the private physio was much better than the nhs

Try a local Chiropractor. Cured my Sciatica when I had it. I also had a long wait for NHS treatment and decided to go private. Roughly £45.00 per session in London.

I would second that, I go for "maintenance" about every three months.  I don't know where you are, but I'm sure someone will here will be able to recommend someone local.
