The Turkey this year came with an odd set of intructions.

Either 35 mins a kg at 180 deg C  Electric/Gas mark 4

or preferably: 23 mins a kg plus 2 hr 40 min at 140 deg C Fan.

Times worked out at 2hrs 38 minutes for the former or 4 hours 20 mins for the latter.  I chose the latter and it was perfect

I've done slow and low before and it's come out well cooked but pallid.  This one was a nice golden colour.  If I remember I'll take a photo of the untouched side

Nice to see you've done your nails for Christmas

Yesterday we had turkey, roast beef, swede, brussels in cheese and chestnuts, broccoli, pigs in blankets, roasts, carrots and and more veg with Christmas pud, profiteroles or lemon cake with cheese and biscuits after.
Today is similar to above but we always have goose and turkey.

Did our roast today as was cooking for the less fortunate yesterday, we had goose and turkey now I’m stuffed!

Can you spot the sprouts?
